White Horse Temple
Luoyang, China
The Story of White Horse Temple
White Horse Temple — Baima Si — is China's very first Buddhist temple, founded in 68 AD after Emperor Ming dreamed of a golden figure flying across the sky. Two white horses carried the first Buddhist scriptures from India to this sacred ground, marking the birth of Chinese Buddhism. For nearly 2,000 years, this temple has been the root from which all Chinese Buddhist practice grew. Its ancient halls, serene courtyards, and deep historical roots make it uniquely powerful for blessings of career success, wealth accumulation, and family growth — where every wish is planted in the soil of history itself.
The Ritual Process
Every blessing follows a time-honored sequence — performed with sincerity at an authentic Chinese temple.
